Stevie and Dean’s Stunning Wedding at Vaulty Manor, Essex
When a wedding day has golden light, genuine emotion, and a setting as beautiful as Vaulty Manor, you know it is going to be a good one. Stevie and Dean were married on a sunny Saturday in late May and I was lucky enough to be there to capture it all.

BACK AT VAULTY MANOR
This was my first time back at Vaulty Manor in quite a few years and it was brilliant to return. The venue has this effortless charm to it. Open green spaces, sweeping countryside views, and beautifully restored interiors. It is no wonder it is such a popular Essex wedding venue.
THE WEDDING DAY
From the very start of the day, the energy was spot on. Stevie was getting ready in the on-site bridal suite with her bridesmaids and family around her. The light in the room was just perfect and honestly some of the shots I captured that morning are among my favourite bridal prep moments ever. Stevie looked absolutely incredible. She had this calm presence about her, smiling through every moment with this excited glow. I love filming these real, quiet moments of anticipation and connection and this morning had that in spades.
Over with the guys, Dean and the groomsmen were also having a great time. They got ready nearby in the onsite accommodations, had a laugh, shared a drinks, then took a walk around the grounds which gave us some relaxed footage with that classic Essex countryside backdrop. The whole vibe was so easy going and happy.
The ceremony itself was held inside Vaulty Manor’s gorgeous ceremony room. Think dark wooden chairs, soft white drapes tied around each one, and delicate white flowers arranged beautifully throughout. It felt intimate and romantic without being overly styled. The room was full of emotion as Stevie walked down the aisle and one of the most touching moments came when their young son stepped up as the ring bearer.
After the ceremony we had plenty of time to explore the grounds with Stevie and Dean. The light was absolutely spot on. There is something about early summer sunshine with a mild breeze in the air that makes everything feel calm and cinematic. We took advantage of the golden hour and got some incredible bride and groom shots. Vaulty Manor’s big skies and open fields gave us the kind of natural backdrops you dream of. And Stevie and Dean were naturals. No awkward posing. Just walking and talking and laughing together. It was everything I love about filming weddings.
GOLDEN HOUR
As the sun began to dip, the evening flowed into speeches, dancing, and more laughter. The whole day felt joyful and full of love. Stevie and Dean were such a kind couple. Calm and generous with their time and totally trusting of the process which always makes a difference.
Being back at Vaulty Manor reminded me why it is such a great venue. It has so much to offer visually and practically and the staff were welcoming and professional throughout. For couples planning a relaxed countryside wedding with a bit of elegance thrown in, it really ticks all the boxes.
Stevie and Dean, thank you for letting me be part of your day. You made my job easy and your film is one I am incredibly proud of. I hope it brings back all the emotion and beauty you felt on the day every time you watch it.
If you are looking for a wedding videographer in Essex or anywhere in the UK and want your film to feel natural, emotive and true to who you are as a couple, I would love to hear from you.
