Lucy and Robbie’s Stunning Summer Wedding at Quendon Hall, Essex

PARKLANDS - QUENDON HALL - JUNE 25TH 2026

Lucy and Robbie’s wedding at Quendon Hall Parklands in Essex was a spectacular summer wedding, filmed on one of the hottest and brightest days of 2026. With completely clear blue skies, glorious sunshine and barely a cloud in sight, the setting could hardly have been better.

This was a wedding full of great people, plenty of laughter and a really relaxed atmosphere. Lucy and Robbie were an absolute pleasure to film. They are a lovely young couple who were incredibly friendly and personable throughout the day, with Robbie in particular showing just how thoughtful and considerate he is towards Lucy and everyone around them.

THE VENUE - QUENDON HALL

Quendon Hall Parklands is one of those Essex wedding venues that looks impressive from every angle. The historic house sits within extensive grounds and beautiful countryside, with immaculate gardens leading out towards the famous deer park. It is a venue that gives a wedding filmmaker so much to work with, from the architecture and landscaped gardens around the house to the huge open spaces beyond. On a day like this, with uninterrupted blue skies and brilliant summer sunshine, it looked incredible.

AS THE DAY UNFOLDS

The morning began with Lucy and her bridesmaids getting ready at Quendon Hall. There was a lovely atmosphere in the room, relaxed, friendly and full of excitement, with plenty of laughter as everyone prepared for the ceremony. Lucy looked absolutely stunning in her wedding dress and the bridal preparations gave us some beautiful natural moments before the day really got moving.

Meanwhile, the boys were dealing with the other side of a very hot summer wedding. Getting suited and booted on a hot day like this was certainly a challenge, but once the suits were on, the beers came out and the atmosphere quickly became more relaxed. Robbie and his friends enjoyed some time together before the guests arrived, with plenty of laughs and the sort of natural interactions that make this part of a wedding day so enjoyable to film.

The ceremony took place outside at Quendon Hall, with the beautiful grounds and deer park providing an incredible backdrop. The combination of the formal wedding setting, the surrounding countryside and that brilliant summer light made the ceremony look fantastic on camera.

Lucy and Robbie’s ceremony was full of warmth and happiness, with their friends and family gathered around them. The images from the day really show just how much everyone was enjoying themselves, and when the newlyweds made their way back down the aisle, the celebrations could properly begin.

One of the highlights of the day was the bride and groom shoot. With the weather giving us almost perfect conditions, we were able to make the most of the surrounding countryside, including the corn fields and the incredible open landscapes around Quendon Hall.

GOLDEN HOUR

Later in the day, as the sun began to drop, the light became even more impressive. Golden hour gave us that beautiful warm summer glow and allowed me to capture some genuinely cinematic footage of Lucy and Robbie together. They were completely comfortable in front of the camera and, more importantly, they were clearly enjoying simply having some time together away from the main crowd.

These are often some of my favourite parts of a wedding day. There is no need to over direct a couple or create something that doesn't feel like them. Give two people who are genuinely happy together a little space, put them somewhere beautiful and let the camera quietly capture what happens.

As the evening arrived, the celebrations continued with the boys enjoying cigars before the party really got going. It was another relaxed moment that fitted the day perfectly, surrounded by friends, enjoying the warm evening and making the most of being together.

The day finished with a fantastic first dance, bringing everyone together once again for the evening celebrations.

THOUGHTS FROM THE DAY

For me, Lucy and Robbie’s wedding is a great example of what I love about filming weddings in Essex. The day looked incredible, but it was the people that made it. The laughter, the friendships, the family and those quieter moments between the big events are what give a wedding film its personality.

Quendon Hall is already an incredible setting for wedding videography, but with a couple as lovely as Lucy and Robbie and a summer day like this, it was a pretty special combination.

PHOTOGRAPHER ON THE DAY

I had the absolute pleasure of working alongside Tony Davies a fantastic character, full of charm, humour and the right energy to lift the day for any wedding couple. We worked really well together and many asked if we were a team, which was a great compliment for the first ever wedding together. I would love to work more with him as I found the day felt super calm and fun. Check out his work, it’s stunning; www.tonydaviesweddings.co.uk - www.instagram.com/tonydaviesweddings/
