Some weddings are defined by their grandeur, others by their energy — but Rachael & Danny’s spring wedding at Friern Manor had something even more special: genuine warmth, effortless elegance, and a sense of togetherness that flowed through the entire day.
Held on the 20th of April 2025, this was a classic English spring wedding. The morning started off sunny and calm, perfect for bridal preparations and a walk around the grounds, before soft clouds set the tone for a relaxed and romantic afternoon.

Bridal Prep Full of Calm, Smiles and Champagne
Rachael spent her wedding morning in Friern Manor’s beautiful bridal suite with her closest friends and two teenage daughters, who played the role of bridesmaids with grace and pride. The atmosphere was a perfect mix of fun and calm— glasses of bubbles were clinked, makeup was applied with laughter, and nerves gave way to excitement as the ceremony drew nearer.
The lighting in the room made it a dream to film: soft, natural and warm, highlighting every detail from the elegant dress to the shared smiles and heartfelt moments. These were not just bridal prep shots — they were treasured memories in the making.
The Grounds, the Groomsmen, and the Ceremony
While the girls got ready, Danny and his groomsmen took a walk around Friern Manor’s manicured gardens. Dressed immaculately in tailored suits, they looked the part and clearly enjoyed the moments of stillness before the big event. The setting — a classic country house with sweeping driveways, quiet gardens, and timeless architecture — added an old-world charm to their portraits.
The ceremony itself was full of joy, laughter and sincerity. It was clear how much love and respect Rachael and Danny share, and their vows brought smiles and a few happy tears. As they walked back up the aisle as a married couple, their guests then cheered them into newlywed life with confetti and the kind of warmth you can’t stage.
Couple Time in the Spring Gardens
After the ceremony, we spent time walking the grounds with Rachael and Danny, capturing natural, relaxed footage of the two of them together. There’s something about a spring garden that brings out the best in people — fresh greens, soft blooms, and that just-warm-enough breeze that makes everyone breathe a little deeper.
Filming them was a pleasure. They were completely themselves — no awkward posing, no fuss. Just two people very much in love, soaking up their wedding day together.
A First Dance to Remember
The reception was full of energy and connection. Speeches were heartfelt, the food was flowing, and the guests filled every space with laughter and love. The perfect finale came in the form of a brilliant first dance, where Rachael & Danny took centre stage surrounded by friends and family, kicking off the evening in style.
