The Venue – Down Hall, Essex

Nestled in the Essex countryside on the Hertfordshire border, Down Hall is a luxury country house steeped in grandeur and tradition. With over 100 acres of lush gardens and parkland, and an elegant mansion at its heart, it offers an exquisite backdrop for weddings that aim to impress.

From sweeping aerial drone shots to architectural details, Down Hall offers a rich visual canvas for storytelling — and this wedding made the most of every inch. Whether guests were enjoying cocktails in the garden or dancing beneath the chandeliers, the venue exuded luxury and timeless charm.

A Morning of Elegance and Emotion

The day began with bridal preparations in a light-filled suite, where natural sunshine poured in through the windows, bathing the room in a soft, golden glow. This light, paired with the warmth and calm of the moment, allowed me to capture some of the best bridal prep footage I’ve ever filmed. Hanieh looked radiant, surrounded by laughter, bubbles and beautiful details — all of which set the tone for the day to come.

Meanwhile, Craig and their four wonderful children—two handsome twin boys and two beautiful girls—shared moments of connection, playfulness and anticipation before the ceremony. Their involvement throughout the day added a layer of family warmth that grounded the luxury with heartfelt intimacy.

Then came the finale: a firework display that lit up the summer night sky, creating the perfect close to a day that felt monumental in every sense. It wasn’t just the perfect ending — it was the only ending worthy of a celebration like this.
